⭢ We are FutureFx Studio.
We are Colorboy Film Color Processor.
Color is more than adjustment — it's intention. For us, it reflects the relationship between what the eye sees and what the camera captures. That's how we build Colorboy.
FutureFx Studio started in 2022 as a color converter for Final Cut Pro. Today, four years later, it's Colorboy — an OFX plugin built entirely by hand, with no team, no meetings, no roadmap.
What hasn't changed: the belief that color starts in the eyes, not in the code.
There are no shortcuts in Colorboy, because there are none in a real color lab either. Every feature passes through a real grading session before it ever becomes a line of code. We chase the feeling, not the spec sheet — a number can be "correct" and still look wrong. And it ships when it's ready, never before.
I'm George Gonz — colorist, visual designer, and the only person behind everything FutureFx makes.
Inspiration rarely comes from a roadmap. It comes from an album cover, a typeface, a frame that stops you to look at every detail. Color passes through the camera, rests in the timeline, before it ever touches code.
I use what I build, every day, on set and in the grading suite.
An OFX plugin for DaVinci Resolve. Four years of work.
It didn't start as engineering — it started as art. Organic color, natural to the eye, with precise control exactly where a colorist needs it and nowhere else. Invisible in your pipeline, like it was always there.
Today, colorists and filmmakers already use Colorboy.
Thank you for being here from the start.
If you're just arriving: welcome. The canvas is ready.
